Documents that are required for a student visa
  • Completed visa application form (IM2A and IM2S) with two passport size photographs.

  • Valid Passport ( in original )

  • Visa Fee ( non – refundable )

  • Letter of unconditional acceptance from a UK institution for a full time course.

  • Proof of funding (i.e. bank statement, details of securities held, chartered accountant’s certification, Income-Tax clearance, Letter from sponsor etc.)

  • Attested copies of education certificates and English Language test (IELTS) score sheet (if applicable).

  • Proof of accommodation in the UK.

  2. Why are you leaving India?

  3. Why particularly this university?

  4. What are your future endeavors/ plan?

  5. Will you return back to India after finishing your studies?

The student must also know about the university where He/She has applied and what other courses it provides which will be a great advantage. As the following university related questions are being asked :

  1. What is the name of the university you are going to?

  2. Where is it located geographically?

  3. Which program are you enrolled for?

  4. What are your test score marks of TOEFL/ IELTS? When did you appear for them?

  5. What is the length of your program?

  6. What are the expenses involved for your trip?

The following questions are asked based on your financial documents

  1. Show me the Bank Pass Book/ Statements/ Bank Certificate/ IT Returns?

  2. Who is going to bear all the expenses and How?

  3. Your father does service, how will he afford your education?
