While this diversity and size makes
Middlesex one of the largest universities in the UK, each of its seven
campuses is small enough to be friendly and welcoming. Courses are credit –
rated and taught in semesters. The flexible modular academic structure means
students can choose a specialist study programme to satisfy the requirements
of a professional body or devise their own major/ minor combinations to suit
personal interests and aspirations. Middlesex has some 40 research centres
and their academic staffs have worked as consultant with more than 1000
organisation worldwide.
Likewise students transferring from other
institutions of higher education receive full credit for appropriate
studies.

based in north London, in the ancient county of Middlesex. The renowned
attractions of central London are within half an hour’s journey time, open
countrywide is close by and London’s international airports are within easy
traveling distance. Famous cities such as Oxford, Cambridge or Stratford are

Accommodation and Welfare
Middlesex University has thirteen separate
halls of residence with a total of 2400 rooms. Priority for places is given
to those students coming to Middlesex University for the first time, in
particular overseas students.
The university holds an orientation course
Introducing Britain at the start of each semester. There is a full range of
student support services including campus health centres, counselors and
housing advisers and an International Student Officer.
The Student’s Union provides all students
with an opportunity to relax in a social environment, to join sports clubs
and cultural societies and take part in a wide variety of organized
entertainment.
Facilities
Each campus has a learning resource centre
providing computing, language, library and media services. There is a
variety of sporting facilities across the University including sports halls,
indoor tennis courts, swimming pools, fitness rooms, Astroturf pitch and
playing fields.
All campuses are within walking distance of
local shops, banks and other community facilities.
